I couldn't have asked for a better tour company than Tour With Tong. I got a really good feeling since my first contact with them via email. Always prompt and also very willing to make any changes to keep you satisfied. My tour guide was Nang and I couldn't have asked for a better guide! I am a female solo traveler and felt extremely comfortable from the second I met her. I knew instantly that I was going to have a good day. Nang was very sweet and so helpful. She talked to me about each historical point and location before we arrived to our destination so that when I got there I could enjoy the atmosphere and just focus on taking pictures. She knew exactly where and how to get the good photos. She also knew all the good places to stop for street food, so the whole day was very smooth! Our first stop was the train market and that was really exciting. A typical market ... until the train comes! Then we went to the floating market which was such a neat experience. It is very touristy now, but when you are there you can get a sense of what it used to be like when it was used traditionally. Next was the handicraft center (which honestly I wasn't interested in) but I was SO HAPPY when I actually got there. Those hand-made carvings are too spectacular to describe in words. Then we went for an elephant ride and bath which was indescribable as well. I never knew such a large animal could be so gentle, even while I was freaking out on her back, lol. Full Moon was her name and I think she could sense my nervousness, and not once did she make a sudden move. She was just a really special elephant. Last, we went to feed wild

 

monkeys and to the Tiger temple - I got lucky and was able to get in on a group to play with and feed the tiger cubs! I just really enjoyed my day with Tong. My camera ran out of battery and Nang didnt mind using her camera to take photos for me. At the end of the tour, Nang sat down with me and went over the expenses. She also gave me a few safety tips that came in handy for the rest of my stay in Bangkok. She was very professional and I wish I had all the money in the world to tip her with.
